Бабуга́н-яйла́ — самый высокий массив (яйла) в Крымских горах. Является частью Главной гряды. Высшая точка Бабуган-Яйлы — гора Роман-Кош (1545 м) является одновременно и самой высокой точкой Крыма. Бабуган в переводе с крымскотатарского языка означает «волчья ягода». 

особое впечатление произвёл нерастаявший снег, при температуре  25С, который, видимо, лежал обильным слоем после суровой зимы. этот факт позволяет фотографии обмануть зрителя, введя в заблуждение о температуре внешней среды. плоская платообразная поверхность яйлы ограждённая вершинами и хребтами, придаёт лугам чашеподобные формы. данные особенности, плюс известняковый рельеф, отсутсвие людей, “встреча” с оленями не могли не навести на сравнение со скандинавской природой
